Our previously show with featuring Steve Vintner has had to be postponed but we have an really exciting quartet appearing in February at Woodstock Jazz: One of the UK’s grooviest guitarists Hugh Turner has teamed up with zany, funky pianist Maff Potts to create a show that will feature the more rhythmic face of jazz. The dynamic duo will play music from The Meters, John Schofield, George Benson and more plus some of Hugh’s original and very catchy creations. Completing the quartet and offering some truly propulsive rhythm will be Paul Jefferies on bass and son of the great saxophonist Dick Morrissey, drummer Jasper Morrissey.
